Professor of curricula and methods of teaching Science, is the undersecretary of the Ministry of Education for education, Sultanate of Oman. He obtained his PhD Degree in Teaching Sciences from the University of Glasgow in 2000. He has previously held several positions in Sultan Qaboos University such as Director of the Humanities Research Centre and Dean of Postgraduate Studies. He supervised more than 80 Master and Doctoral Theses in the field of teaching sciences and participated in discussing more than 50 Master & Doctoral Theses. He has 125 research papers published and approved to be published in Arab and international journals. All these research papers are about teaching in general and teaching sciences in particular, and are being widely circulated among teachers. Professor Dr. Abdullah Ambosaidi is a counsellor and a trainer for several educational development Projects in Oman Such as “TAMAM” project (school-based development) and “Green Schools” Initiatives. He is also the principal researcher of several educational projects. He is also member of the Editorial Board of several national, Arab, and international Educational Journals.

He is an award-winning educator and author best known for his work in differentiation and advanced learners. His range of experience includes teaching, curriculum coordination, and program administration. Currently, he is a widely respected education consultant with nRich Educational Consulting, Inc. (www.nrichconsulting.com). His consulting work has taken him throughout the United States, and internationally. His areas of expertise are educational programming, rigorous and challenging curriculum design, differentiated instruction, 21st century skills, brain-compatible classrooms, gifted & talented education, and self-regulated learning. Dr. Cash authored the books on differentiation, gifted learners, and self-regulation for learning.

He is a professor at the Special Ed. Dept., College of Education, United Arabic Emirates University. He is a working member in some professional organizations such as He received his PhD from the University of Arizona, Tucson, USA in 2006 in Special Education/Gifted. He is currently the Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal for Research in Education (IJRE), UAEU. He is currently a member of several specialized professional associations He published over 50 articles and book chapters about special education, giftedness, and early childhood in international peer-reviewed journals and books: in collaboration with renowned scholars in the field. He participated in several regional and international conferences and chaired several sessions. He led several national research grants in the fields of special education and early childhood.

He won several national and regional awards for his scholarly achievements such as honoring by UAEU for publishing in the top 1% journals in the world in 2020, the national research award in Oman in 2017, and the excellence in research by the College of Education, UAEU in 2022. His research interests include assessment and education of gifted and talented students, developing and adapting assessments to the Arabic culture for students with special needs, designing and adapting enrichment programs for gifted and talented students focusing on STEM education, and the educational psychology of preschool children. He is currently a part of a research team in the special education department to implement enrichment STEAM programs in collaboration with Hamdan bin Rashid Foundation for Distinguished Academic Performance. He was part of a team of 17 international scholars who developed the Global Principles for Professional Learning in Gifted Education by the WCGTC in 2021.

Professor in the Gifted Education Program at the Arab Gulf University. on the professional level: I worked as a teacher for 11 years at the secondary stage in Bahrain, then a specialist in gifted education at the Ministry of Education for 7 years, then working in the Gifted Education Department since 2002.

On the academic level: she holds a master's degree from the Gifted Education Program, and a doctorate from King Mohammed V University in thinking skills according to the theory of success intelligence. Held several courses for teachers in the field of planning programs for gifted people and setting up programs to nurture them, and participated in some conferences on giftedness and creativity. 

Csilla Fuszek worked for over 15 years as a teacher in primary, secondary and higher education. Since 2000 she has been focused and become specialized in the field of gifted and talented education. As a civil servant she worked for 7 years as a managing director of nationwide talent development programs aimed to promote equal opportunities to the disadvantaged strata of society. From 2007 – 2011 she was the managing director of the Csányi Foundation which is one of the biggest civil education foundations focusing on talent support in Hungary.

She has been a lecturer at Eötvös Loránd University since 2008 and since 2009 she has been working for the Association of Hungarian Talent Support Organizations. Initially she was responsible for establishing international connections and for collecting best practices outside and inside Europe. More recently Csilla has become responsible for the newly formed European Talent Centre – Budapest.

Dr Mariam Alghawi –Educational Consultant and Expert- has been the Director of the Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Centre for Giftedness and Innovation of Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Distinguished Academic Performance in Dubai government - United Arab Emirates (UAE). She is an Associate Faculty at Hamdan bin Mohammed Smart University. She pursued her postgraduate degrees (Doctoral and Master) in Education at the British University in Dubai (BUiD) in association with the University of Birmingham – UK in special education" inclusion / gifted education". In addition, she pursued a postgraduate diploma in Public Policy from the Mohammed bin Rashid School of Government in Dubai and the Public

He is a full professor at the Education College in King Faisal University, Saudi Arabia. The winner of A. Harry Passow International Award for Leadership in Gifted Education. He was a Member of the Saudi Parliament, and was the President of the International Research Association for Talent Development and Excellence (IRATDE).

He was the Dean of the Research and Consulting Institute, the Director of the National Research Center for Giftedness and Creativity, The Dean of Teachers' College at King Faisal University, Saudi Arabia. He was the founder of Gifted Education in Public Schools in S A (the first in the region 2001), and also the founder of The National Research Center of Giftedness and Creativity in S A (the first in the region). Prof. Aljughaiman contributed on establishment of several identification tools and programs to serve gifted students in S A and some of the Arab countries, such as: Alef test, AlefYa Battery, Apprenticeships, Mentorship, Ithra (Career counseling program), International Summer Programs…etc.

The primary focus of Prof. Aljughaiman's professional activities is the development and education of gifted and talented students. He has published books, book sections, and peer reviewed articles on the identification of and services for gifted children. Prof. Aljughaiman has received multiple awards for his professional and administrative work in Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, and the USA. His research and practice have been supported by funds from King Faisal University and the Ministries of Higher Education, Education, Planning of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Hamdan Foundation for Excellence in Education (UAE), Arabian Gulf Research Center in Education (Kuwait).

Albert Ziegler (born 4 July 1961 in Siebeldingen) is a German psychologist and the Chair Professor of Educational Psychology and Research on Excellence at the Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen Nürnberg.

Ziegler is the Secretary-General of the International Research Association for Talent Development and Excellence (IRATDE); the Vice President of the European Council for High Ability (ECHA).;[1] and Chairman of the European Talent Support Network (ETSN).[2] As of August 2017, he serves as Director of the Sound Research Branch at the World Giftedness Center. He is also the Editor-in-Chief of ECHA’s scholarly journal, High Ability Studies.

Ziegler's work is predominantly concerned with gifted education and talent development. To date, he has published over 400 articles, chapters, and books in the field of educational psychology.

Prof. Mahmoud Mohamed Emam obtained his PhD in Special/Inclusive Education from University of Manchester in 2009. His main research interests are in (Developmental Disabilities, Learning Disabilities, Inclusive Education, Assessment in Special Education). He is currently working as Professor at Sultan Qaboos University, College of Education - Psychology Department since 2011.

Prof. Said Aldhafri obtained his PhD in Educational Psychology from University of British Columbia Canada in 2006. His main research interests are in (1. Students’ and teachers’ motivation and self-efficacy beliefs, and their impact on psychological variables such as emotional intelligence. 2. Parenting styles and its relationship to various psychological and educational characteristics of children. 3. Intercultural studies on motivation, self, identity and social me). He is currently working as Professor at Sultan Qaboos University since 1996.

Tracy L. Cross, the Jody and Layton Smith Professor of Psychology and Gifted Education, was recently determined to be the world’s most productive researcher in gifted education according to a study published in High Ability Studies. The article aimed to identify key thinkers in the field, as well as the primary institutions that generate research on giftedness and the extent of international, institutional, and individual collaboration.

Prof. Ali Mahdi Kazem obtained his PhD in Measurement and Evaluation from Baghdad University in 1994. His main research interests are in (Developing measuring tools and studying their psychometric properties ; Diagnostic tools for special groups ; Using technology in measurement and evaluation). He is currently working as Professor at Sultan Qaboos University, College of Education - Psychology Department since 2000.
